Abstract

The two successive adsorption steps, proposed by Guglielmi for the mechanism of codeposition of Molybdenum disulphide (MoS2) and Kaolin particles from sulphate zinc bath was experimentally demonstrated and the relationship between the electrolytic conditions and the extent of codeposition was verified. From the relationship, the importance of reduction of zinc ions adsorbed onto the particles is shown
