Abstract

A metal catalyst-mediated selective transfer of an oxygen atom from a cheap, electrochemically generated, single oxygen donor such a's ten-butyl hydroperoxide to-substrate has been described. (f) lsoborneol is stereospecifically oxidized to (+) camphor.
