Abstract

A brief review of chemistry and electrochemistry of fe(II)/ferdcyanide system Fe(lD/Fe(III) system in sulphu.-ic acid, tartrate, oxalate, citrate and EDTA is presented. Factors influencing the rate of fe....o/fe....icyanide and Fe(II)/Fe(III) redox processes are discussed. The stability of Fe(IJ)/Fe(lII) complexes in various medium is compared and experimental support is provided.
