Abstract
The process optimization studies were conducted in a batch cell on the electrochemical chlorination of toluene using DSA-Cl2 type electrode (dimensionally stable anode=DSA) in aqueous hydrochloric acid medium. Different experimental conditions like concentration and current density were tried to maximise the product yield.
