Abstract
CdSeTe semiconducting material was synthesized for the first time by a chemical method using selenium and tellurium with cadmium oxide in the presence of reducing atmosphere. Hexagonal mono phase CdSeTe powder of different compositions were prepared and characterized by X-ray diffraction and optical absorption studies
